Performing Arts / Production A2 Level
Autumn Term 2007 ~ First Half Term: Unit 4: Employment Opportunities in the Performing Arts. Students learn about the variety of employment opportunities in the performing arts, giving them an understanding of possible vocational routes.
Autumn Term 2007 ~ Second Half Term: Unit 4: Employment Opportunities in the Performing Arts. Students pick a vocational area that they are interested in and organise an event to gain practical experience of this career. They present their work as a portfolio of their experience.
Spring Term 2008 ~ First Half Term: Unit 5: Advanced Performance Practice or Unit 6: Advanced Production Practice. Students choose to specialise in either performance or production skills and gain a thorough understanding of these skills by organising a performance.
Spring Term 2008 ~ Second Half Term: Unit 7: Production Delivery. Students will have the opportunity to develop, rehearse and deliver an entire performance as either an actor or technician. This will result in an examined performance.
