Development as a Hub of the Community.
Our involvement and hosting of the SSCo partnership has allowed us to have impact beyond our primaries and secondary schools. We are working with our partner primaries, our secondary partners and developing links with the sports federation clubs and our local community. People and clubs know that Sports Colleges are keen to foster links and we will actively develop and support clubs that benefit our students.

The Crawley School Sport Partnership
The Crawley School Sport Partnership expanded in September 2006 and now consists of 7 secondary schools and 27 primary schools within Crawley.
The main aim of the partnership is to increase participation in physical activity and to develop and progress the high standard of delivery locally.
Targets include:
· · Improving communication within the Partnership; between secondary school PE departments; and primary schools and between the Partnership staff and other school staff. To include the introduction of a school events calendar, regular meetings and information distribution.
· · Improving the development of the local sporting infrastructure through work with the Borough Council, local clubs and National Governing Bodies. This work is essential to develop school club links and ensure exit routes are provided for all development opportunities.
· · Improving leadership and volunteering opportunities through links to local school and club activities and events; linking to improving opportunities for intra-school competition.
