YEAR 11 GRADUATION CEREMONY and BOAT TRIP
This was held this year for the first time at the Hawth Theatre on Friday 14 May 2010. The Mayor of Crawley, Councillor Brenda Burgess, together with her husband, were guests of honour and presented the students with their certificates.
“It is certainly a fact that the young people of Thomas Bennett have worked really hard and this was echoed in the number and variety of the awards given.”
“Every year Thomas Bennett just keeps on getting better and better. Such improvements must surely be down to the dedication and quality, not only of the Headteacher, but also the staff and governing body as well as the invigorated enthusiasm of the students themselves. Well done to everyone concerned and congratulations to those who graduated. I wish them every success in their future. They will be a great credit to Thomas Bennett, their family, Crawley and above all, themselves.'
The day was capped off for the students by a party of a Thames pleasure boat ... a great day for all concerned!
